Yoga

In Sanskrit, the word, "yoga", means to "yoke" or "unite" the mind, body, and spirit. Historically, the physical practice of asanas (or poses) was intended to help you settle your body and mind, to allow you to come to stillness.

There are many different "flavors" of yoga out there, and within each style, every teacher or practitioner adds their own unique energy to make the experience of attending a yoga practice different, depending on the type of class you are attending, who is leading, the setting, the topic or focus, etc.

In my yoga classes and events, I aim to help participants focus on their own personal experience -- how poses and movements feel within their body, noticing and honoring what feels good or right for them. For me, what something feels like is much more important than how it looks (aside from safety). My hope and goal is to create opportunities for you to slow down, ground yourself into the present moment, and reconnect with your body, your breath, and your inner self. As a Reiki practitioner, I also often incorporate Reiki, or the option of receiving Reiki as part of my classes and events during our final resting pose of Savasana.

Autumn Harvest Yoga & Sound Journey

(DONATION BASED)

A Morning of Harvest, Release &

Inner Balance

Donation-Based Gathering

September 26    9:45 AM – 12:00 PM
Glynnis | 5823 Keller Rd, St. Louis, MO 63128
Limited space – Register Early!

The Invitation

The light is turning.

After the Equinox on September 22, the days begin to shorten and the world leans inward. The outer harvest gives way to an inner one—time to gather what we’ve grown, release what no longer serves, and return to a deeper, quieter center.

Join us at Glynnis, a 10-acre sanctuary on the Meramec River in south St. Louis County—long regarded as the heart of the dove, a sacred space for awakening, remembrance, and unity. Here, in the turning of the season, we come together to embody balance: between light and dark, doing and resting, giving and receiving.

Through gentle, grounding yoga and an immersive sound journey with crystal singing bowls and vocal toning, we will support the body and nervous system in releasing, integrating, and settling into the rhythm of autumn.

A Gifted Gathering

This ceremony is offered on a donation basis, in the spirit of community, reciprocity, and shared experience.

Donations of any amount (cash, Venmo, or a gift in kind) are warmly welcomed and go directly toward supporting the facilitators and future gatherings. Your presence is the offering—your generosity helps sustain this work. There is no minimum or maximum, only intention.

What to Expect

9:45 – 10:00 AM
Arrival, connection, and settling into the space.
Weather permitting, we will gather outdoors at Glynnis. If not, we will move inside the indoor sanctuary.

10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Ceremony begins.

The morning includes:

  • Gentle, grounding yoga to release tension and restore balance
  • Breath and movement practices to support letting go and coming home
  • Seasonal intention setting aligned with the energy of the Autumn Equinox
  • Crystal singing bowls to regulate and harmonize the nervous system
  • Vocal toning to support integration, release, and energetic coherence

By the end, you’ll feel lighter, more centered, and attuned to the inward pull of the season.

The Energy of Glynnis

Glynnis — meaning valley of oneness and unity — is a sacred gathering space devoted to connection, nature, and Divine presence.

In the heart of autumn, this land becomes a living container for release and renewal. The Meramec River flows nearby, the trees begin their descent into color, and the ground invites us to root more deeply. There is no hierarchy here—only shared presence, intention, and light.

What to Bring

  • Yoga mat
  • Pillow & blanket (for rest and sound integration)
  • Bottled water
  • Comfortable layers (especially if outdoors)

Space is limited to 13 participants for intimacy and energetic alignment.

This Ceremony Is For You If

  • You feel called to align with the energy of the Autumn Equinox
  • You want to gently release what you’re ready to let go of this season
  • You enjoy intentional movement paired with sound and subtle energy work
  • You value conscious, heart-centered community

No prior experience is necessary.

The year is turning inward—let’s meet it together.
Come as you are.
Give what you can.
Leave feeling grounded, balanced, and more deeply connected to your own inner harvest.
